能源藏腳底！ 日人稱下水道「能源寶山」

日本全國的下水道管線，連結起來長達46萬公里，最近這幾年，日本人開始活用這些埋藏在地下的能源，因為下水道的淤泥，會產生廢氣，可以用來發電、另外從廢氣中抽取出來的氫氣，也能成為氫氣車能源。
能源的寶山，其實就藏在我們腳底！是，就是下水道！日本的櫪木縣，在今年1月，開始了下水道發電事業。櫪木縣縣央淨水中心：「開始發電。」
下水道處理廠裡的3台發電機，每個小時可以生產300千瓦的電力，這相當於700戶一般家庭的用電量。
下水道是怎麼發電的？原來日本人先取出廢水中的污泥，在儲藏槽裡發酵後，利用廢氣來作為發電能源。因為下水道集中來的家庭廢水，取之不盡用之不竭，日本現在已經有30個下水道處理廠，投入發電事業。
木縣縣央淨化中心：「全部投入運轉的話，在計算上面將近1萬2000戶，一般家庭的電力可以從這個發電廠來提供，我認為下水道可以說是寶山，只要是人住的地方，就會發生污水排放，因為是以社區為據點，作為能源循環的產業，對地方產業會有很大貢獻。」
只要是人住的地方，就會產生廢水，在東日本大地震中，下水道設施半毀的東北第一大城仙台，現在更開始新的下水道實驗。
仙台下水道管理局：「我們設置這個熱回收系統後，原本被丟掉的熱能源，可以回收來作為暖氣使用。」
原來他們透過回收下水道裡，平均攝氏有12度的廢水熱能，來作為冬天的暖氣所用。
仙台下水道管理局：「我們不只是復原而是放眼未來，採用新的技術，希望能對未來的日本，提出新的能源技術。」
在九州的福岡，他們抽取出下水道廢氣裡的氫氣，提供氫氣車使用。下水道，這座能源寶山，就藏在我們腳底。
